Introduction
This page demonstrates encoding PDF417 symbols using Morovia
PDF417 Fontware. The encoder produces an array of text that turns
into PDF417 barcode after formatted with appropriate PDF417 font. This
page is an online demonstration. So any barcode symbol generated will be prefixed by
"demo". The PDF417 Encoder GUI version is included with every Morovia
PDF417 Fontware.
After you retrieve the barcode string, simply copy & paste the string into
your application.

Data To Encode - Fill the data to be encoded in the text box below. You
can encode up to 1000 bytes under the binary mode, and more under other modes.
Barcode String - The array of text string which encoder outputs. Format
them with appropriate Morovia PDF417 fonts you get a PDF417 symbol.
Security Level - The higher the value, the larger the overhead and the
more secure the symbol generated. If the value is 0, no security is included.
This value also impacts the data capacity. We recommend you set this property
to 9, which the encoder chooses the best value for you.
Truncated Symbol - The generated symbol is truncated (without right
closing bars).
Compaction Mode - We recommend you always set to Automatic. You may
choose other compaction mode, however, any characters which can not be encoded
under the specified mode will be removed in the generated symbol.
Typeface - The PDF417 Fontware contains 5 fonts with different aspect
ratio. Choosing different font impacts the final symbol size as well as the
aspect ratio.
Number of Columns - The number of columns of the symbol generated. If
you fill 0, the program will calculate the best value for you.
Maximum number of Rows - The number of rows of the symbol generated. If
you fill 0, the program will calculate the best value for you.
