question about barcode font 128A

Postby gochtel(Legacy Member) on Thu Jan 12, 2006 5:41 am

hello,

first, sry for my bad english

I am searching for a barcode 128A font wich i can use in MS Word. I have to change for example 1234abcd into the barcode. After printing and scanning the result should be of course 1234abcd.

is it possible to change it directly in Word with font selection, or is this only possible with an extra program?

regards gochtel

Code128 requires start/stop as well as checksum characters. Consequently you can not type the number and format the font to make the barcode; you need to generate the "barcode string" first and format the barcode string with the font to get the correct barcode.

You can use FontPal utility to transfer the barcode string to Microsoft Word.

Just a reminder - Code128A does not encode lower case letters. Code128B does.

Yes it is in the demo package.

You need to run the setup.exe to get it installed. After intallation complete, you can find the shortcut on the desktop.
