64-bit Windows 2008 Server. U2lcom.dll is missing

Postby CrystalReprotZA on Tue Feb 22, 2011 4:49 pm

We use Crystal Report XI and your Code128 barcode Fontware to print barcode from our web server for many years. It worked very well.

Now we want to upgrade to Windows 2008 Server 64-bits. The barcode printing desn't work. What to do?

If you IIS server is 64-bit and you installed Crystal 64-bit runtime, you need 64-bit UFL too. Just download from the link below and install it on your production server. No need to install on development machine as Crystal Designer is only 32-bit.

We're seeing the same problem.

Win 8.1 Pro x64
CR Developer 2013

Font MRV Code128aMA

UFL u212com.dll missing

I've installed the 64 bit font tools, copied the ttf's to the windows\fonts folder, spun around on one leg....

I can see the ttf font in the developer, but when I run the report we get the missing dll error.

Where did you the report, server or the client?

The machine that you run the report must have the DLL and the font. If your are calling 32-bit Crystal you need 32-bit DLL. If you are calling 64-bit crystal runtime you need 64-bit DLL.
