How to Embed Font within Documents

To distribute font outside your organization you must use font embed technology. Most of windows applications provide such capabilities. Please be noted that a developer license is required for such distribution.

Microsoft Office

Consult your manual or help files for detailed information. The following description and screen capture is taken from Microsoft Word XP.

To save a document with fonts embedded, select ‘Save As…’ from Word’s ‘File’ Menu, then select Tools->‘Options…’ to access the dialog show below.

Adobe Acrobat

Acrobat Distiller provide font embedding capabilities. When generating pdf files, select “embed fonts” from the “pdf settings” tab.
