Different Barcode numbers Different Scanning Speed

Postby Loizos84 on Fri Aug 30, 2019 2:46 am

Good morning all!

I am having the below issue for several months :

We are using EAN 13 Barcodes and the barcode number starts from 100000xxxxxxx which causes a big delay for our scanner to read the code, when i change the barcode number to 800xxxxxxxxxx the process of scanning is very fast.

Does anybody know what the issue is? Maybe its our database that has all barcodes staring with 100000xxxxxxx?

Any suggestions?

thank you in advance!

Since the scanner picks up the barcode, the barcode patterns are correct. The problem could be caused by uneven black width due to printer low resolution or too small font size used.

Can you tell the printer's model and the font size that you used to print the barcode?
