Morovia Barcode ActiveX is an extremely powerful
ActiveX control for creating high quality barcode
images. It can be used in any ActiveX-compliant
environment such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Visual
Basic, Visual C++, FoxPro, Delphi, C++ Builder and
Visual Studio .Net.
Morovia Barcode ActiveX product line comes
with two versions - the Lite version and the
Professional version. The difference lies in the
barcode formats that it supports. The lite
version supports linear barcode formats,
including Code 39, UPC-A, UPC-E, EAN-13, EAN-8,
Code 93, Code128, UCC/EAN-128, Codabar, POSTNET,
Royal Mail, HIBC and Interleaved 2 of 5. The pro
version supports all barcode formats listed
above plus three two dimensional formats -
PDF417, Data matrix and MaxiCode.
GS1 DataBar Family symbologies (DataBar,
DataBar Truncated, DataBar Limited, DataBar Stacked,
DataBar Stacked Omnidirectional) are also supported
since version 3.4. Note: DataBar Expanded and DataBar
Expanded Stacked are not available in the lite version.
Professional version is required to print DataBar Expanded
barcodes. For

Based on Morovia release policy, this release is free to all existing
3.x customers. If you are one of them,

- Supports major linear symbologies including Code 39, Code 93, HIBC,
Code 39 ASCII, Industry 25, Interleaved 2 of
5, Code 128, UCC/EAN 128, UPC, EAN, MSI, Bookland
(ISBN), Codabar, Telepen ASCII, Telepen Numeric,
Code 11, POSTNET, PLANET and Royal Mail. GS1 DataBar Family
symbologies (excluding DataBar Expanded) are supported since version 3.4.
- Load and Save barcode control properties
to a binary or XML file.
- Exports high quality graphic images in WMF,
BMP, JPG, GIF, PNG and TIF formats.
- Rotation in four angles: (0 degree, 90 degrees,
180 degrees and 270 degrees).
- Work as a DLL. You do not need to have a
UI form or dialog in order to use the control. You can use
it at background.
- ASP and Windows Scripting supports. It is
really easy to create batch images with 5 lines
of VBScript/JScript code.
- Data Binding Support. You can data-bind the
Message property to any field in a database
table.
- Royalty Free. With a developer license
you are allowed to distribute up to 10,000
copies of the ActiveX control with your
custom applications.
- Support comment. You can add a paragraph
of text into the image generated.
- Label Design support. With label design
mode you can work out a label with less than
10 lines of code.
- Advanced view features. You can zoom in
and zoom out programatically, toggle the human
readable text display, toggle comment display
and so on.
- Generate Barcode Images in browser or in
web server. This barcode ActiveX allows you
generate barcode label images in Microsoft Internet
Explorer. With Morovia Barcode Server you can
generate images in the web server. No installation
is needed at the client computer at all.

Morovia Barcode ActiveX control allows the greatest
flexibility.
A label generated by Morovia Barcode ActiveX
consists of the following parts:
- Barcode Portion. The Barcode portion contains
the actual barcode image, human readable text
and quiet zones. The barcode image is mandatory;
human readable text and quiet zones can be
turned off. You can also have human readable
placed on top of the barcode image image.
- Comment Portion. You can have a paragraph
of text completely unrelated to the barcode.
You can placed the comment on the top or on
the bottom of the label. Font typeface, size
and properties are all adjustable.
- Comment Margins. You can set 4 comment
margin properties to adjust the position of the
comment.
- Symbol Margin. You can set 4 symbol margin
properties to adjust the white spaces from the
edge of the symbol to the border.
- Borders. You can set style, color
and width for the border, or turn it off completely.
