The most recent version is 3.33.0, which was
released
on January 29, 2010. Read the
release
notes here. This release is a bug fix release. Existing 3.x customers can
download
here.
The package includes two true type fonts. DataMatrix Font Encoders
(ActiveX and GUI versions) are also included. Also included are the
samples for Microsoft Access, Mail Merge and
Crystal Reports.
Note that the DataMatrix Font Encoders (as well as these samples) can
only run under Windows platforms.
If you are looking a solution utilizing PCL fonts, download this
DataMatrix PCL font evaluation kit(ZIP,

The data matrix encoding is very complicated so we include the DataMatrix
encoder with every package. You can adjust a couple of factors: target size. The target size parameter allows you to choose the size
of the data matrix symbol. The program fills padding characters to fulfill the size
requirement. We recommend you to print at
point size 12.
To encourage purchases of the retail version, the data matrix symbol generated
by the encoder contains "demo" text. This limitation is removed in the
retail version.
The user manual is available viewing online - choose the format you'd

DataMatrix symbology can encode any
characters within the ASCII value ranging from 0 to 255. In DataMatrix Encoder
and our Font tools, you
can use the ASCII value to represent a non-printable character, such as
\000 for character NUL ( the first character in the ASCII table).
It is impossible to manually convert input into barcode string. You
need some programming knowledge to integrate our Encoder API with
your program. Currently the encoder programming interface is
available only on Windows platforms.
